Simply Giving

Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church is pleased to tell you about our electronic option for making regular offerings called Simply Giving®. Contributions can be debited automatically from your checking or savings account. Our electronic giving program offers convenience for you and much-needed donation consistency for our congregation.

Some of our members are already using this option and no changes are required for them to continue. We are not changing the process, rather we are responding to requests about this option.

If you are currently giving on a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly basis, you will no longer need to write out checks, give cash or prepare envelopes. And, when travel, illness or other circumstances prevent you from attending services, this program will allow your offerings to continue on an uninterrupted basis.

Signing up is easy. Authorization forms and a “Frequently Asked Questions” flyer are available on the bulletin board near the front door of the church. You may use one of the envelopes with the authorization forms to return the information back to the church office for processing. If you have questions please contact Don Newman at 913-837-5116 or Cindy Karrow 913-269-1935.

Online Giving App Changes!

The online giving app currently known as GivePlus will be ending September 30th* and will no longer function. There is a new app now available called Vanco Mobile Faith Engagement.

The Vanco Mobile app can be used going forward to change or update any online giving transactions. You can download this app for free at the Apple App Store or Google Play. Once downloaded simply open the app and search for our church name.

Any previous recurring donations are not affected and will continue. You will just need to use the new app to make any changes to that recurring donation.

Your previous online giving app registration/login will remain the same. The online website also remains the same.

*The deadline has been extended until January 31, 2022 but you are urged to change over to the new app as soon as possible.
